Women’s safety is an issue I continue to highlight and welcome the introduction of the Criminal Law (Sexual Offences) (Amendment) Bill 2018 following a Private Members’ Bill brought to the Dáil by Minister Kevin ‘Boxer’ Moran, TD. I was delighted to meet Minister Moran last year to discuss amendments to his Bill which I believe will in the long run make the country a safer place for women.
